Aftermath

Things seem to have settled down here. Still some flooding just outside the city to the SE but (outside of some trees and a few shingles) Ocala is OK. The scenes coming from Puerto Rico are a different story much to everyone's
distress. It may be asking too much of even US resources to cope with three such happenings within 30 days. I hope we can quickly restore enough infrastructure at the port and the airport to support further aid more efficiently.
Meanwhile--a prayer and a donation seem the limit of what I can do from here.

The keys took a hard hit! Islamorada and Key West are going to recover quickly. Big Pine Key. And Bahia Honda and Marathon. It's not good for them. 5 years to re-establish those areas. I was surprised at some of the boats on trailers the were gently moved around, while others were tossed on the road. Shade is a premium commodity! There are no leaves on any trees.
We got a good pruning around here as well.

It'll be a long time before things get back to normal or whatever the "new" normal is.

There is a lot of devastation around the Gulf and the Caribbean.

    This^^ Prayers for everyone.
