What should they do when the whole thing was fabricated by the so called victim?

    Punish him based on code.

    Who called him a victim?

Was he not a victim of alleged racism?

I think it was a good speech no matter what motivated the Lt General to give it.

It was for a fabricated lie which is a shame. Hopefully the cadet was dismissed because he obviously has an agenda which he will probably continue to push and cause more unneeded issues if allowed to do so.

As the Lt General said, he needs to get out.

Do you think his speech only applied to certain people?

I think it was a waste of time and resources because the victim was a victim of his own issues and it never should of happened.

Again, who called him a victim?

    Apart from yourself.

And I don't think he will "get out," I believe he will be thrown out, as he should.

    A wasted opportunity.

I don't know where this ^ came from, but I'll go with it.
Being a chow hound, I used to volunteer for KP due to the leftover food on the trays/in the insulated meal containers. I was once ordered by our commander to not eat out of the trash cans.
The cooks in my line unit were some of the finest and hardest working soldiers I've met. They were tasked with feeding ~140 soldiers in less than ideal conditions (when we weren't on MREs). Due to cleaning their equipment to SFC Menginghall's uncompromising standards, after long field problems they were always last to turn in their weapons. Being the armorer, I never required them to clean them (I cleaned them myself) = extra helpings on my tray/mess kit every time.
Probably the best Thanksgiving meal that I can remember was prepared by them in a field unit kitchen somewhere in the ad-Dahna Desert. Talk about a morale booster...

Soo you're a dag gummed cook?

No, MLRS crewmember and unit armorer. None of my weapons had failures during deployment (one idiot bent the firing pin on his M16, but that doesn't count).
Are you reading the same thread as the rest of us?

    the
He was released from the Academy (albeit prep school ) but still might remain on active duty. That's usually the case when someone is released from the prep school.

The 3 star exhibited some **** poor leadership in that video. Guy should be relieved.

When you have personnel violating the UCMJ you don't tell them you shouldn't do that "you should get out". You ****can their rear end ASAP. And yes, as a military leader it would behoove you to have all the information before you go off half-cocked.

Kneejerk reaction and it added to the Air Force's embarrassment over this and the Texas shooters info withholding.

That's how it use to be done especially in the academies.
A new generation now. Can't upset them or hurt anyone's self esteem.
