Other winners are tow truck drivers and body shop owners.
Auto Sales will increase.
Imagine being in a country, where suddenly 1/2 of the adult population will be "first time drivers". Reminds me of Dade county after the mariel boatlift lol.
I wouldn't expect to see a lot of female drivers in SA for a while. I've been there, they can talk all they want it won't happen for a long time.
Depends. If their zealous Religious Police are now being forced to protect this right it might not be the best idea for anyone to try and stop it. What these men have used in the past could now haunt them!
Maybe if we tell people that the brain is an App, they will start using it.
After driving all over Arabia, I would guess the women will make either no difference or decrease the danger on their roads. My reasoning? They will add to the number of vehicles on the road which might cause the homicidal male drivers to slow down. Driving angry or intoxicated is benign compared to driving under the influence of inshallah.
The conservative Saudi Policemen will start gender profiling by stopping and ticketing drivers with berkas at a higher percentage than those without.
Saudi women will protest....the Quran will have to be amended.
It's the beginning of the end....
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to crap on the board and strut around like it won anyway. I AM NOT A RACIST
The only one commingling things is you. Which is precisely what I expected, indeed wanted, to occur with my post. But you connected those dots, not me.
If by that you mean giving them the right to vote and drive -- and with equal protection under the law -- then, yes, just like that.
Also funny, if the left was really concerned with that they would have been in an uproar about it years ago. As a matter of fact, there are plenty of new hotspots they can go and protest. Until they aren't welcome there.
I hope the women in SA do get real rights. But in 300 years from now they will still cry about it. Oh, wait, that is SA, not USA.
They will probably be more civilized than those who didn't allow women to drive or those who bought and sold human beings as property.
Progress!
Despite your claim to world travel, it appears you haven't been paying attention. Slavery is still in the world and you "could" protest about it. Or you can stay safe here and complain about ancient history.

Tell me, Dave, where did I suggest slavery was not in the world?
And I wasn't complaining about anything. To the contrary, it was you that brought up "300 years ago" in an attempt to draw a parallel between the plight of African Americans and the women in SA -- following right in the footsteps of Mustang. I was simply showing the folly of such comparisons. Please try to keep up.
Don't you have a beach house to build or something? This whole written communication thing isn't really your strong suit.
I'm headed to Paris, Bangalore, Singapore, and Tokyo starting next Friday. Don't worry, I pay very close attention and I'll take lots of pictures for you.

Yep. With radicals controlling much of the religion it will be a dangerous place to be a female.
My posts are my opinion only.

Well at least they have the right to. That is what matters.

Funny SA public service video:
I'll bet the conservatives in SA are not happy.

That's funny! Commingling your vision of conservatism that you mistakingly ascribe as universal values.
Just can't make this stuff up.
