So, I took the first 5 days of duck season to hunt. The storm messed things up a bit...but was able to kill some wood ducks locally.

But, You cannot shoot wood ducks after Wednesday (first 5 days) and I have no teal pinpointed...so...fishing yesterday and today.
The water is scary dark & dirty..St Sebastian really is dumping...

I netted up some bait and went to work.

Thursday was all snook...11 of them.
So, Today I head back out...and it was a very different day...still a bunch of snook...but managed a whole load of "others"
and the right three for a slam.



Plus...added one more "color" fish

Add in the "silver King"

And...dinner

It was a pretty good morning...and quitting at 10...I beat the storms in.
May hunt tomorrow....got some intel

First spot I had 1 hit...but wind was pushing me into the shore...Next spot I hook up a real sweetie of an overslot snook...but she comes loose. :banghead
Ran to get some wind shadow and while the Tarpon were rolling...they were not eating.... :banghead
Kept looking and I found this..

and then...after catching a jack....
so...that was it...4 fish...but it was slam # 60
