Canaveral National Seashore

Hi folks,

I hope everyone managed to get through the storm without any major problems.

I'm just wondering if the seashore is open and accessible?

Cheers,

MoB

I went out to Haulover today. Boat Ramp is Closed. Parking for kayak fishing next to bridge is Closed. Didn't see any vehicles on the other side of Haulover and I assume by the blown over porta johns and other misc debris it will be Closed for a while. We were able to put in at a dirt ramp and this is what we found. Snook are active like crazy in Haulover. They seem to favoring the bright Green split tail jig with a light jig head. The shoreline has been modified throughout although snook and reds are exploring figuring it out. Strong current mid day. Sheepshead are feeding along the shorelines like nothing happened. Young Reds are exploring shallow areas that have been flooded. Phone labels it as Granny Cove. Wind definitely picked up and kicked us out.
