thanks Vinnie. My 189 is off the lift and on the trailer. I am directly on the Gulf and my dock, boatlift, boathouse was totally destroyed by Hermine last Sept. Here we go again. Been here 18 years (Cedar Key). Replaced, rebuilt several docks, never any damage to my home, cars, boats, or my family. Have no place to go, so we are staying here again. Wish us all luck!

This sucks.. Looks like it could go right into Summerland / Cudjoe based on the path they keep saying. Hope it keeps going west of KW to spare the worst of the wind. If not, its going to be big problems for me and all the others there.

The cone looks really bad for us but the path of the storm itself has been westward over the last day much to the chagrin of all who were certain Miami was in the bullseye. So far these forecasters and TV anchors are not impressing me in the slightest. I think we still have a chance it could keep going west and the keys could avoid a lot of potential wind damage. Even if it just move west another 25 to 50 miles it would be a huge difference.
I guess in about 8 to 12 hours we will know for sure. Screw the landscaping.. I just hope everyone's house is still there and not blown into a waterlogged shack.

How did you make out, looks like Cudjoe took a direct hit from what I saw.

I put my Egret in a field on a trailer, strapped the console cover on and it did fine. I am in Plant City so we got hit by the weakened eye wall but nowhere near as bad as you did.
