So who says sea level is going to rise 2 meters in 18 years?
2" may be possible but I doubt even that.

Awesome, less miles to the boat ramp!

Yea ours did as well in Sarasota. In fact we could not get out of our development on Sunday due to high water, probably the first time I missed the Jeep Grand Cherokee I traded in 4-5 months ago. Water had gone down by Monday morning with only several inches of water covering parts of the road.

I saw Al Gore show that map a couple of weeks ago. The funny thing is I saw that same map hyped 19 years ago with the same 18 year time line. looks like they missed it.
I guess it's like Jesus is coming tomorrow.

We may have higher water is a biblical rain fall, but it will not stay around long. HOWEVER in much of Florida Sink holes would be the bigger problem. Talking about Houston, they know about the potential for flooding, but the last thing they did to help with the flooding problem was in 1940, according to a new story.

Speaking of sinkholes, I'm predicting quite a few new ones open up this winter after a draught last winter and a lot of rain this summer.

If I am right, everyone remember, otherwise nevermind I said anything.

I'm curious, mods. I was under the impression you got rid of the political section, and said it wasn't allowed on OT, or any other section. Did I miss those rules being changed?
