EP Peanut Butter pattern?

I've been experimenting with tying with the EP fibers and tying that peanut butter pattern...the one with black and purple.

Is there a standard length I should tie those for tarpon? 3.5 inches or so? Just curious...and thanks.

BTW, I'm sure I'm way behind on tying with this stuff but I have a hard time keeping up with the latest trends. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking about getting rid of my 8 track player and getting one of these new cassette players they've come out with. I'm wondering if this internet thing is going to catch on or is it just another fad.

Anything over 3" will tend to foul unless you use other materials for the tail. Stiffer synthetics like Farrar blend are better suited for bigger profiles.

Yep...some guy named Reagan might run against him but I'm pretty sure Carter can beat him.
