Afternoon Report for Reds and Snook 8\4

Sevenweight (Mark) and I slipped out yesterday for a few hours to catch the tide and see if the fish would cooperate.

Nothing spectacular, a few reds, and a few snook plus a jack were taken. Snook were really active with me missing two of them when they jumped and threw the lure. Cool to watch though and they get released anyway.

Water was in the hot range, fish were all in less than three feet of water (as usual), they were taken on soft jerkbaits although I think Mark got one on a gold spoon.

Nice day on the water with Mark. The red in the picture (to prove we caught fish) is 26 inches and the snook was 25 or 26 I believe. I tend to make the fish look small, maybe I do need to lose some weight, :). They were the two biggest fish not counting the jack Mark caught. Still a nice day on the water with no one around.
