Hotel in Islamorada/Marathon? Cheap quick trip

I plan on taking a quick 1-2 night trip down to Islamorada (or upper Marathon) next month, we usually rent a house every year but they are always 5-7 day minimum.

Let me know your budget hotels/etc names, doesn't need to be fancy just somewhere to stay for the night or two.

If there's a dog friendly one that comes to mind it would help, but we can always leave the dog with the neighbor for the night.

Kon Tiki resort in Islamorada, it's before Bud & Marys. Its around mile marker 83. They have a ramp and dockage for boats up to 23ft.

We stayed at the Bay view Inn and Marina on Conch Key just before Marathon a few weeks ago. Old keys style- not a chain hotel or touristy feel... And I'm pretty sure I read that they are pet friendly... It's cheap and clean. Hope this helps... www.bayviewinn.com

Thanks for the answers, lots of good info, I've seen some of these places over the years but never looked them up.

Feel free to keep them coming, I probably wont book for another week.

So far there have been a few that surprisingly accept a 100lb dog lol but like I said just post what you know, if its not dog friendly I'll still take a look since we dont always take him

White Gate Court is pet friendly and has nice individual cottages. Bayside on the s. end of Islamorada area.
