Was listening the other day and they were talking about an issue in the news which said a device was pneumatic. Sarah Spain asked what does pneumatic mean? Keep in mind she is listed as an Zeson Columnist. Guess what? Not the journalist Dan spoke up, nor Stu Gotz, nor the producer with an answer! I was stunned.

That is hard to believe. We use the word all the time in our industry. But still seems like a household word to me.

I asked the 60 year old wife who is very smart and is a Optician and beat her brother on a mechanical test in high school and she didn't know either. She said something like hydraulic and Pneumatic but didn't really know. Lol Has know one in every day life not come across the term Pneumatic tires?

I could understand many females not knowing...... but males? What has happened to the world. Someday mechanics, electricians, plumbers and other tradesman will make more than doctors if they don't already.
