I agree they should of never started letting people have them as pets. My vet has several big ones in his office that got to big for pets.

They train dogs to sniff out anything else, why not train them to sniff out snakes?

Field & Stream had an article about hunting them a while back.

Evidently, it's open season every day in Puerto Rico ... but only with pellet guns.

The island is overrun with the critters, who make mincemeat out of crops.

They might be using dogs already to find nests.

Also, they have released "Judas Goat" males with tracking beacons inserted.

It was hoped that it would lead to nailing the females, but haven't heard of any results.
