Putnam County Alligator Tags

I was looking to bounce some ideas off of anybody who has experience hunting these tags. I'm not asking for a spot to go and hunt. I have a good plan but want to kick around some tactics that I think could work up that way. My part of the St Johns is very different terrain wise and I want to see if I'm on the right track to change up my methods to work with the conditions up that way.

Also if anyone knows of a place to stay on the St Johns around Welaka that doesn't come up on the normal internet searching please let me know. We plan on staying at Andersen's Lodge. Anybody stayed there lately? I hunted tags up there about 8 years ago and this is where we stayed. It was nice then and had the bar/restaurant. I hear the bar took a hit in the storm.

I would appreciate any tips on lodging and if you want to talk tactics shoot me a PM.

Almost forgot anyone know who buys gators up that way and if there will be any drop off coolers around?
