My son and I have been doing pretty good with the snakeheads and a few decent bass in the afternoons this past week in the Sunrise area. Been getting all the fish on zoom horny toads. Here are a few pics
Have ya eaten a snakehead? All my neighbors said they were fantastic. In fact there were several ladies that told all the fishing kids they would pay 5 bucks for any snakehead any time. For the life of me I just could not bring myself to clean that beast. Too snakey for me.
Disregard the question above, I saw your other post. Now I feel like I missed out not eating them. I used to sit at the dining room table and look in the back yard canal they would be there against the bank looking at me with those red eyes. I'd open the patio door and they would back off and sink with the babies around their heads. I kind of miss that canal.

Yes unbelievably good tasting fish!! Very easy to clean as well. Everybody says the same thing that they are ugly and wouldn't try them at all until I have a fish fry with them and they tell me that that's the best fish they have ever eaten!!
