Bass Bite

I thought with the start of the rainy season with levels rising and the water becoming more oxygenated that the bite would really turn on. I am not finding it to be the case. The bites have been few and far between, for me anyway. I was doing much better when the water levels were way down. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? <(((((><

Like wise. Looked and looked and never found the baitfish. Ran the sonar and it was zilch. Tried all the normal tactics and even jigged the channels..nada. Water temp is 88 deg...was hoping they'd be deep in cooler water..nope. Like was said..it sucked.

Ramp was pretty much empty except for pleasure boaters. Bite is VERY EARLY or VERY Late...

I though the rain would lower the temps but not much

going to go practice with my bow for awhile

My club had a tournament on lake Henderson last sunday. Lake has been pounded recently with at least 4 tournaments prior to ours. We had two over 7 lbs weighed in. I had a small limit fishing deep brush in 9 - 17' of water. Lost two prefishing that broke my line in the brush. Seen one , and it was 6+ . Winning bags came from shallow water. :banghead
