My wife wants to move to eastern Tennessee and I told her that I was going to miss her. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it she said she wasn't going to miss me. At first I was saddened by her comment but realized that we had had 40 years together so who knows.

Well, woke up this morning with a wine glass in my hand
Whose wine? What wine? Where the hell did I dine?

Maybe a point or two less safe this morning. North Korea says they have a missile which can reach anywhere in the world.

North Korea should have been handled by now.

I can't remember. How did they get their hands on our guidance systems in the 90s?

I imagine the more pressing question is how will the US, Russia, and Chine react to the recent launch?

The question is China. The U.S. and Russia, both who condemned the attacks, can increase military presence and increase sanctions. But until China cuts trade with North Korea not much will change.

I read an article that China is concerned with destabilizing the North Korean government since it could send millions of refugees into China. China also does not want North Korea to have nuclear capabilities. China is the player that needs to make the move to stop North Korea.

During an all out media fest about collusion it seems appropriate to ask a lot of questions about how monster problems evolve?

Our government is about to sell $1 billion of weapons to Taiwan in addition to the intrusion into the China Sea. I don't believe that will made Chinese leadership happy.

I read that Russia and China are unhappy with the military exercises we are conducting with South Korea, but I am sure you have read the same. I'm not sure what if all means, if anything.

It's not easy when petulant, spoiled children are given free reign for years and then an adult puts an end to their destruction. No telling what might happen. They might even act out at softball practice.

North Korea with Nuclear capabilities is more than just a U.S. problem. China and Russia are concerned about it, no mater how they feel about us. China is he only one who has enough influence to do anything. I read one article that China wants to get the U.S. and North Korea to sit down to talks, but that is not a solution Trump wants. I don't know where it will go from here. The only U.S. target North Korea can hit may be Alaska and that is just a guess. Japan, South Korea and a lot of other countries in the area need to be worried more than us right now.

Lots to do in Nashville and a good variety of eateries. It has grown so much in the last decade it is starting to experience some growing pains. Would certainly have traded cities with you that week. Jackson is not exactly a fun place to spend the week. Did venture over to Memphis a couple of days and one evening on Beale Street. Some good food and great music but sadly it seems to be reverting back to some shady stuff again. Bass Pro in Memphis is worth a visit for the building and water displays.

Waiting to see where daughter does med school, or PA, and most likely to follow... Had enough of this heat. Will leave with 2 rentals here, not sure how that plays out, but these summers are killing me... 10 miles inland from the Ocean is no different then 20, 50, or 100... Same weather in Okeechobee as there is in western PSL...

And all of a sudden, years worth of planning out the window because they could t waltz in. Oh well, maybe they could wait for the next BO.

Meh, like I said, they can wait the 90 days. Besides, they're already here. And they're probably US citizens.

I'll be in Memphis week after next for the Sons of Confederate Veterans national reunion. It was in Dallas last year and in Mobile, AL next year.
