Mom lives in Kentucky, the closest airport is in Nashville. My niece is a physicians assistant at Vanderbilt Hospital, and her husband is doing his residency at the same hospital. I could easily live in Nashville if not for Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March.

Lots to do in Nashville and a good variety of eateries. It has grown so much in the last decade it is starting to experience some growing pains. Would certainly have traded cities with you that week. Jackson is not exactly a fun place to spend the week. Did venture over to Memphis a couple of days and one evening on Beale Street. Some good food and great music but sadly it seems to be reverting back to some shady stuff again. Bass Pro in Memphis is worth a visit for the building and water displays.

I have not been to Memphis since I was a kid, don't remember much about it.

When I have time, I try to get to Jimmy Kelly's in Nashville or maybe Rotier's for a cheeseburger.

Me neither. Do you wet the bed also?

Seriously, I don't wake up to pee. In fact, I don't wake up for anything. I take that back. If the dog is pacing on the bed, I do wake up. I think it's because my brain has been trained to do that. If I don't wake and the wife does, I get an elbow to the ribs and a "Mike Apollo has to go out".

If you ever venture into Memphis again try central bbq. Doesn't look like much but wow some good ribs and brisket. We were in Jackson for the Miss Tennessee pageant (daughter was competing ). Memphis has gone through some of the same phases that New Orleans has. Right now they sweep the eyeballs up every morning in some of the worst areas.

Not since that time I was totally wasted, plus I have my own personal bedroom.

No, some people just have **** donors. Sad but true.

And all of a sudden, years worth of planning out the window because they could t waltz in. Oh well, maybe they could wait for the next BO.
