Placing an ID on pond fish...

With out buying a tag and release kit, how would you tag bass in a private pond to chart their growth?

How many bass do you want to track?
If it just a few then you could use a hole punch to punch a hole in the tail or dorsal fin, note the location of the hole when you collect the weight and dimensional data. You could catalogue this data with a photo to make it easier to document.

Why don't you call Mote Marine?

Mindy thanks just 5 or 10 larger ones, I like your idea. I was told to sterilize the hole punch.
Mote asked me for my commercial liscence. No go.
