Crystal River fishing charter suggestions

Would anyone be able to recommend an offshore charter for group of 4-6 people in crystal river? Looking for charter to go for grouper, red snapper, gags etc. Someone that regularly fishes 120ft -160ft range. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Looking to go mid to end of July.

You can book trips through The Plantation on Crystal River. I'm sure Captain Marrio Castello has a offshore Capt he works with.
I'd get your call in quick , those guys stay booked months in advanced.

Clay Shidler. I just went out with him last week 100 miles on his 37ft Freeman. Top of the line charter experience. Best boat, best equipment, etc...we put meat in the boat. ars limit, just about a red grouper limit, gags, mangos etc...nothing I couldn't do by myself in St. Pete but it was a fun experience and I had a real good time with Clay and JD his mate.

But **** 100 mile run to get into 115ft what tough to wrap my head around.

Its about a $3000 trip all said and done with him. 6 guys fish well on that 37 freeman. I would say he fits just about everything you are asking for.

Dang, thanks. I'm used to running between 35-45 miles to get to that depth down by Boca.... I just don't want to pay a charter up there to catch a bunch of shorts and grunts. I wasn't aware you had to run that far. Not looking to go 100 miles out. What depths does decent fishing for ARS, red and Gag grouper start up in CR?

I'm not familiar with area and would be taking clients of mine who live/ work up there.

Thanks for the responses as I appreciate.
