Penn Spinfisher 6500 for $79...if you are interested

Just saw this on amazon.

Looked like a decent deal and I thought I would share. I have a couple of these for a couple years and have been happy with them. Tarpon, AJs, etc...

that sucks..the 8500 is a beast. great reel for tarpon loaded with 30 lb mono.

6500 is on sale. the others sizes are not except for the 3500. The 6500 is $79...3500 is 87.... The others are full boat retail...140+

The pics look like they have that secondary drag at the bottom. Has anyone ordered and received theirs? Is it the regular pinsfisher or the live liner version with that bottom drag knob?

the regular 6500 is $79. the 8500LL and 6500LL (pictured) is the baitrunner edition , it's not a secondary drag.

great. ordered some. thanks. good deal.

in baitrunner mode, you can actually adjust the drag. atleast you can on the shimanos. I just called it a secondary drag wasn't sure what it is actually called.

Amazons photos don't always match up but you always get what you select. Also Penn Clash 4000s were on there for 113$. Easily 40 bucks cheaper than anywhere else.

edit : I meant to say the 8500 , it holds 300 yds of 30# mono. the 6500 if you're gonna use braid.
