OT: Epic Boats. Anyone have one?

I'm looking at buying an Epic 21. Looks skinny enough and has a great platform for fishing off of. Does anybody own one or are familiar with them?

    I wouldn't own one...

Go look at the traditional west coast bay boats - Dorado, Sheaffer, Gause, Avenger, Canyon Bay, Aeon, Aquasport, Hanson, Exuma, Sabalo, etc.

There are two Epics, are you asking about the Epic produced in Pinellas? That's Ed Pic's shop, great guy, even better work. I believe he builds a 17, that's it. If it's the other Epic, don't do it, Fusion is spot on.

Thanks. Saved me from making a mistake.

I started reading the reviews. A few peple had problems with the 22SC, but everyone seems to love their 21SC which is what I'm looking at. Still Im going to continue my research

Is it just me or are the Hanson boats modeled after old Aquasport 222s that have been modernized? Awesome boats at least from what I've seen. They look perfect for FL waters pretty much anywhere.

Ed builds a 17 and a 23. Both spectacular custom made to order boats, not the production garbage. The 23 is now called a Bahia, due to the horrible press of the production boat and we got tired of having everyone ask if we were associated. Here is the Bahia 23
