32' Forest Johnson Prowler

I have a Merrell-Stevens Forest Johnson Prowler project that I don't have time to complete. The hull is solid. It mostly needs cosmetic and mechanical work. It has 2 aluminum block Detroit Diesel 4-71T's. It is currently sitting on a triple axle trailer, with the tower removed for transport. Might be interested in trading for a trailerable offshore boat. Is the head plumbed just inside the cabin starboard?

CaptJ, I believe it is mostly fiberglass, but I know there is some wood in the construction. There is a lot of info on these boats on the web. This is the Hull #1 model. Also, the deck was replaced several years ago with honeycomb.

Resinhead, yes, the head is plumbed just inside the cabin starboard. As far as the motors, one of them has been professionally machined for rebuild, but is not put back together. It has brand new cylinder liners, pistons, gaskets, etc, but needs to be reassembled. The other motor (which is still in the boat) was rebuilt a few years ago, and has approx 500 hrs on it post rebuild, but has been sitting for several years and will need a going over.

Josh, yes I did buy it from Chris...super nice guy. I wish I had the time to get the boat going, because it's set up to be an amazing fishing boat.

Resinhead, it is currently in Palmetto next to my house. I bought it from a guy who did charters out of Sarasota.

That's not a Prowler. I've owned maybe nine Prowlers and still have four at my yard. The lines on that hull are  not from Forest Johnson at all.
