So I just got back from 8 days in Stuart Fl. We heard that the masses went to Bullshark and the Sand Pile. We went out day one and OMG what a zoo.
I hope this helps someone in the Stuart area but day two we went north out of the inlet and caught all the sardines we wanted on the beach. Sometimes they were a mile north and sometimes 5 miles but once we found them each day we were always the only boat there. This made catching bait super easy and we were full of bait and gone while most of the fleet were stacked on those two numbers.
I wanted to share in hopes it helps a fellow fisherman and saves the frustration of the zoo that those two spots are.

Sardines,,, Big Turbo's
So what are the baits that they catch just offshore at the Bullshark wreck and the sand pile?
Sardines.... BUT I wouldn't define Bull shark let alone sandpile as being "on the beach". That being said I have heard some confirmation that the dines as well as some other specie of bait has been unusually close to the beach lately.... very unusual.
Makes me feel better knowing I am not crazy. You had me googling my bait species LOL
