Looking for opinions on boat seats...

I'm getting close to finishing my project boat and am trying to figure out the most practical seating arrangement. The boat is a 20' center console and originally had two pedestal seats behind the helm but they need replaced and I'm trying to make the most of the space available. Anyone have anything good to say about swing back cooler seats? This seems to make the most sense but may be bulky? I have an ice box in the floor and livewell in the transom so this could eliminate the need for the always in the way food/drink cooler. Sorry for the long question, just looking for opinions. Thanks

I too have swivel seats. I like them, they allow me to face the gunnels or the stern or forward very flexible. I just bought new adjustable slides for both and cushions. I fish on boats that have fixed seats and they not to my liking. Swing back may be different story. You could mount them so a cooler of your choosing fit between them, and carry it on and off as needed. Send us some pictures of you project.

Thanks for the reply larryitt. I will post some pictures soon. I just got a price on some nice wise swivel seats through work and may just continue with that setup. I'm just trying to make the most of the space available and try to add storage.
