Aqua holic

Hit the water at 7:30....late start. Loaded up on sardines at Bullshark. Hit one of my bottom spots on the way out....covered up in bluefish so we headed offshore in search of anything "fishy". Some scattered weeds and some minor edges in about 80'. Drifted some baits out and down. Steady action all morning between 80' and 120'

Nice Mango
Short Mutton
3 short grouper
Bunch of monster blue runners
1 BIG Cobia

Ran back in to Bull Shark to catch a Bonita and play with the Goliaths. Ended up catching about 300lb 8 ft long Bullshark. Thing was a BEAST!
Great day on the water. Have a great weekend...be safe out there...lots of "once a year" Googans out there. Like the guy fishing flat lines in the middle of the pack while catching bait at Bull Shark in the morning....hooks a Bonita and cleans me out of 3 bait rods .... flouro leaders, sabikis and weights!

Sounds like a solid day. I hear you on the once a year crowd. We fished most of the day out deep and were able to avoid the crowds. Except for group close to the inlet fishing for bait near the channel. Interesting to say the least.
