5-26-17 Not Too Shabby And Dinner As Well-Jupiter Offshore

The stars lined up :wink and we were able to head offshore on a Friday....bit rough early and decided to just bottom fish, thankfully scored a few snapper right off the bat:). Trolled for a bit out to 200 with nothing but bonita, ugh. Tried several deeper drifts but nada except I lost 2 really nice butterfly jigs to some toothy critters, bummer:hairraiser. Thankfully the mid-day bottom bite picked up for us, threw back a ton of triggerfish and kept a nice large one along with some decent snapper and a few rainbow runners, just love them:thumbsup. Of course lost at least 15 rigs and fish to the man in the grey suit, super bummed :banghead and now need to buy more tackle. Nice to be back out once again for Mrs. LA and I. Yes, she did catch a very nice African Pompano and I caught a smaller one as well, pretty cool fish.
