Blue Lagoon insight

Just move down to Miami and was looking to target snook at blue Lagoon. Can anyone share some insight? I have also heard there are tarp and there has anyone had any luck with them?

I've caught small snook and tarpon with rapala jerk baits and swim baits there in the lagoon itself. I was targeting peacocks..There are some nice size snook throughout the whole water system. They like bridge pilings. You will see tarpon rolling on the surface around the lagoon in the mornings. Live bait might be the ticket for them..

Main lake early mornings, then hit the canal system. Lots of fish through there, but the jet ski crowd takes over the main lake after a certain time.
