PE 5/13 STAYED ON THE REEF

After running 32 miles offshore Thursday and
catching nothing the plan was to pull planers.
5 minutes after put the spread out a king in
the box.Had a newbie on the boat he says
this is easy.The seas picked up to a very sloppy
2 to 4 and he is doing ok.Short planner gets hit
another king in the box.After that we get 3
bonitos let Alex bring in all the fish.Short time
latter planner with pink Sea witch gets hit a nice
surprise a 12 lb blackfin in the box.All morning
Alex was getting Bob and I beer after the tuna
i went to get a beer and there was a in:banana
the cooler Told Alex its lucky we were catching fish
or he would be swimming to shore with his :banana.
Had a good laugh and called it a day.

Nice job. We've been staying on the reef further south and doing very well on the snapper. Kings were harassing our bottom baits in the deeper water.

Good job Neal! Way to get some fish in the box. I heard it through the grapevine that those Atlantic bonito are edible!!
