Did catch a couple on topwater plastics the other day. It was fun seeing the pops, but 1/2 pound bass are not much of a battle when you have a heavy rod and 65# braid .
The topwater and flipping bite should be good through July as long as the water stays up.
One of the bass I yanked out but the hook didn't catch. He landed on some lilypads and it was funny seening him flop up and down a couple times.

If the pond goes up another 6"+ I'll be able to flip bushes. Pretty funny flipping bushes from shore and yanking out 5#+ bass 6' from where you stand.
