June 5th-8th Key Largo

Coming down for a few days with my family. Staying at Marina DelMar - Atlantic side and need to rent a boat. What size CC should I rent for the area?
Planning on fishing, snorkeling and exploring the area.
Any area fishing tips is greatly appreciated

20 is all you need. If its too rough for the 20 spend the day at whale harbor, snooks or Lorelei. even on windy days you are very close to south creek which will give you access to the bayside. winds are usually se that time of year and there's plenty of fun bayside and it will be a lot easier with less draft back there. your directly off of penny camp so finding awesome snorkeling to beat the heat will be easy. Molasses or white bank reef are my fav. plenty of patches inside the main reef for good fishing usually the smaller the patch the better the fishing. I just moved from key largo to Ocala area but will be renting in largo most of the summer. looking forward to it. have fun
