Anderson has lost his voice. They have another guy helping out on vocals. One of the best concerts I saw in the 70's.

I suspect he is too old to jump around on 1 foot when he plays the flute like he used too. I just could never let that go....it seemed so....stupid.

I saw Tull in the 80's definitely a great band. I also caught them with Mott The Hoople about 10 years ago. It was very solid

I recently read how that came about. When he played harmonica and would suck in to play a note, he said it was just instinctive to pick his leg up. People started telling him about it and he decided to leave it in the show when playing the flute which came later.

Also the shabby clothes and hair is from when he was broke had no cloths, food or a place to say so he just wore it on stage. The old red/black house coat is how he will always look to me.

He is also very smart and in the old days on tour when everyone was doing drugs, he was reading books.

Saw them a couple of years ago at Mizner - they did all of Aqualung live for the first time. Also, had a young women playing violin and they did an amazing cover of Led Zep's "Kashmir". Great show at a great venue.
