good day today

Went out of CR this morning, fished an oyster bar, and got 2 big trout, one 20" and one 22", made a little move to right off a mangrove island where there was a ton of mullet jumping, stopped the boat and started working a mirrodine and got a nice 23" red. Called it a day, that's plenty of fish for us for the next 3 dinners. Felted good to put something in the cooler, last trip I got skunked and the one before that I only got 1 barely legal trout. Water temp was 75 today and there was a lot of people out on the water today, ramp at fit was crowded.

Good deal! It's been hit and miss for us also with those last couple fronts and the full moon. caught a lot of fish last weekend, but had to run all over to find them and only a couple good ones. I think this week and coming weekend should be pretty good.
