I checked in to getting permit, state requires big snake handling experience you must capture alive take it to check station they kill it then return it. since I don't have big snake handling experience I was going to put on the application line every time I urinate.

So let me get this straight we have a serious python problem in Florida and the State has found a way to make money off of it and ensure the problem will never be fixed?

Not sure why " big snake handling experience " needs to be a prerequisite.
Coupla rounds from a 12 ga. and all you're handling is dead weight.

Why are there any regulations at all? Wipe them out, or at least try.

It happens occasionally over there...... You do realize that the average indonesian man is like 5'2" and 110 pounds....

Plus the snakes that are the culprits are reticulated pythons.... We have Burmese here

I know I read the article, but you just wait, eventually a Fla. python will kill a human.

Put a bounty on them and let anyone kill them on sight. And ban all importation/ownership of them. Problem solved.

We've killed a bunch in the Big Cypress over the past 10 or so years... Don't really need or looking for a bounty... lol
