Texting.

I wish I could do better. I see these girls and a few guys texting in the vertical position 90 miles per hour with their thumbs.Must be nice.
LOL. My thumbs would cover three keys at once. Even when I hunt and peck I still hit multiple keys half the time
Oh well, ginormous hands has its disadvantages. I need a full size keyboard on a 'Puter. Anyone else?

My hands are average and I still can't text. I can play piano ... but not on a miniature keyboard. Same with typing.

Texting ... is just perfect for autistic people. You don't have to actually talk to or look at anyone.

I actually enjoy talking to a person. If I want to send a letter then I'll use e-mail.

Swype is much faster and for me less errors.

You Swipe the word on the key board. Google it. A lot easier than thumb stabbing

I just dial the number and talk. I only use texting for a quick message.

This is why it's called a phone and not a texter.

I suck at texting. Hate it. Problem is lots of people I know won't answer the phone but will answer a text. Especially my kids.

Grown kids, or still at home? If they were mine, and still living at home, they wouldn't have their phones long if they did that unless. they were driving, or someplace else they shouldn't be texting.

I text way more than talking on my cell.

I used to not like to text, but I have found out it is easier for quick messages to people. If they are busy, they can reply when they get a moment. I can text in 30 seconds somethign that would cost me 5 minutes on a phone with the polite conversation added.

Yep. More and more of my clients are now texting as opposed to calling my office and having to leave a message with receptionist because I am with a client or not in my office. It's normally to answer a question in reference to their tax return or financial statements. Works a whole lot better.

They're all grown and on their own. Not sure why these kids prefer texting over talking. Talking is better.

Its more convenient. You're not interrupting a person, they can check to message at their leisure.

The wife uses talk to text, makes for some interesting conversations when siri hears things wrong.

I like texting because it makes it seem like I really care, even though I don't.

Does that work better than Siri?

    No, Siri is easier.

I'm not one for any regulations from gubberment, but texting while driving, or anything else on your phone needs to be a ticketable offence. I sick and tired of having to always be on guard either in my truck or MC to keep from getting hit. Pull over... my steel toe boots have dented a few fenders.

Have you tried the voice-to-text converter on your phone?

Last week I just about got T-boned by some dumb schmuck on his phone running a red light. I am not 100% sure, but I think he was in the turn lane, which makes me wish I had delayed, because he probably would have ran into a light post had he not seen me at the last second.

I used to live in a city called Edina and they had a municipal liquor store.

Every time I tried using voice search through Google for Edina Liquors...well, you get the point.
