any cobia off sebastian

were there any cobia caught in the Sebastian area yet. Do they come close to the shore I only have a small boat. Thanks

Yeah i would love to know also but its been pretty rough the last few days. Yes they can be caught right off the beach and out a few miles during the spring run. I fished out of Canaveral this past Wed and didn't see any cobia or rays. Went all the way to Melbourne and out to 70 foot. The water temp was still cool close to the beach. 67 to 69. Did manage some nice tripletail out pretty deep. Should be anytime with the air temp forecast this week. Only report I've heard are some cobia being caught on the boils off the power plant south of Ft Pierce. Keep in mind the best cobia reports usually come after the best fishing.
