Offshore Suwannee 3-21,22

Made a run out to the golden grounds Tuesday. Made it to the fishing grounds around 11, first stop was a wreck that gave up a small kitty Mitchell, a 20 pound red snapper and a 100+ pound jack. We moved off onto the natural bottom but the bite was terribly slow. We picked a few scamp, mostly on jigs, in 420' but not much else happening. Finally around 3:30-4:00 the bite fired off and it was big kitty's yellowedge and Gags 12-38 pounds. We stuck it out till sundown then headed inshore to 200' to snapper fish. Overall it was a slow bite but lots of big fish and the box got filled completely.
