    Nice!

How do we follow along on the posts?

I'd like to send this to two pilot buddies. One of which spent 2 months over there on his gorgeous 42 Bertram and on the hook the entire time except for 6 nights at a Marina!

    Gary, WWW.AtAnchor.com

Same here. On the hook for the three months except a few nights in a marina to pick people up from Georgetown airport if I don't want to go all the way to Elizabeth Harbour.

    The first ten days!

We are currently slow cruising from Staniel to Compass. We have a couple of lines out but no takers yet.

"We are THERE". "ARRIVES last Saturday".

I hope that you're not the captain.

Just read your latest blog. I always use canned evaporated milk for tea and coffee, even if I have fresh milk. I grew up with it and got used to the taste and prefer it. Just something to think about for those "milk" emergencies.

We brought plenty of the little half and half packets and a couple of Parmalat boxes. I don't mind it but the missus can't stand it. And you know how that goes!
The couple of friends we had with us recently had no issues with it as they lived on Bermuda and Aruba for a long time and most of the time that is all they had.

The wheels boats are Rick Hendrick's. I mated on Reel Wheels a few times. Mike runs the operation and is a good guy, as is Rick the owner.

Did I remember that wrong, Wheels not speeds? I had a few more pics, must check and correct.

    What "Guide" are you using?
    Thanks for the updates.
Have you been the The Exumas Land and Sea Park? It is the most beautiful park in the world!

Your last post about the past few days was pretty hilarious. Anyone who has spent time down there knows your struggles well. Seems like small issues to those who aren't watching their vacation whittled away by island time. LOL

Pavlidis Cruising Guide To The Exumas. Not as good as the Dodge Guide is to the Abacos, and we found some errors. However we are using the Explorer Charts and they are excellent.

We are actually anchored off Emerald Rock right now. Previously we have visited Hawksbill and the anchorage off the Park HQ in Warderick Wells. We are thinking Shroud tomorrow and may visit Normans for the weekend before we have to start heading back to Elizabeth Harbour to pick up my brother and SIL. Then we do the round trip again to show them everything!

Yup, and disappearing and reappearing BTC signals can now be added to the list! :)

If you visit Macduffs at Normans the eye fillet is amazing!

The new marina is going to be something else as well. Biggest in the Exumas by a long shot

Mike, are they still digging it out? (marina on southwest end of Normans)

Menzies; keep up the reports! sounds like you all are doing the charterboat itinerary every ten days! north, south, then north again!

Mike, we are anchored off the southwest of Normans right now. We went into McDuffs for lunch. One cheeseburger and fries, one grilled fish sandwich, four Kaliks - $95 after VAT and gratuity!

    Ah, the Bahamas! :)

Tom, from when we got to Allens we had a week to get to Georgetown to pick up our first guests. Then we had to do the north-south loop to show them as much as we could in two weeks. After going back to GT to drop them off we have month on our own so are doing the loop again more slowly. Then we have to be back in GT May 2nd to pick up the next pair of guests and do the lop again in two weeks. When we drop them off we will start the journey back to Jax!

In hindsight we should have had people fly into Staniel.

Due to be opened(the hole, not the marina) at the start of June and then we will be there with the owners new boat. Floating docks and a 5000ft runway. who needs Nassau anymore

Menzies I never said it was cheap! hopefully Portia looked after you. I love macduffs

She may have been in the kitchen. Leo(n) looked after us. Nice guy. Though he certainly looked like he could have been there during the "wild times!"
