Wedeila trilobata, yellow ground daisy

Dadgummit, I planted this in the yard a couple years ago as an alternative to turf grass because of it's drought tolerance and ability to spread and now it's considered an invasive pest that can harm Florida livestock, avoid planting this

no, just a few laying hens, but it can wind up in pastures hurting other people's herds, i don't want that, guess it'll have to be ripped out

Make cold medicine out if it. Don't waste it.

My GM used to have it. Great ground cover. Funny it too almost 50 years to realize it was invasive.

try using a native plant of some sort if you yank it out

i will, we planted lots of the native mimosa, ground cover, sensitive plant, that and coonties will fill the space
We had tried dune sunflowers there but they didn't do well
