Reds & Rain

Sat around Wednesday and patiently waited out the rain and most of the wind and was glad I did. Slid out around 12:30 and was greeted with a stiff southern breeze and a hi-tide. Ran south from Goodland and stopped in a spot i have been looking at for quite a while and it happened to be out of the wind so we tried it. It was holding some beautiful upper slot fish. Throwing jigs we covered this edge and it produced 3 reds, two of which were over the slot and one landed right on 27". Found a couple respectable snook in the mid 20's and one surprise trout. All in all a great day glad we decided to head out.
