Mangos schooling end of May?

Fished off Franklin Co early June last year and had a ball with the Mangos schooling up behind the boat (left them biting to seed). Headed back second to the last weekend in May this year. Will they, by chance, be schooled up and aggressive at that time of year?

Suggest you look at moon phase for your trip last year- mangos are known to come together in breeding gatherings around full moon May thur July. Mangos will respond quite well to chum- however they are very wary- we found floating the bait back on light line/leader with no weight-not even a swivel- the way you fish for yellowtail to work best- when they get lock lipped (and they will after you pull a couple out) either back off for a 1/2 hour or move a 100 yards.
