Ill look for it on Alligator Alley. That's where they test a lot of the new cars and trucks. You see them all the time with stuff stuck allover them so you cant tell what it really looks like.

I wonder why they do it on the alley as it's a long straight stretch? Seems you would want more turns and curves to see how it handles?

Mid-engine is the best engineering solution for a balanced car for race purposes. They talked a lot about the Porsche 911 changes that moved the engine forward towards the center.

untrue...the engine in the 911 gts, ad nauseam is right where it has been since the introduction of the 911. there are no plans to move it anywhere else....
the boxster and caymens have been mid engine since their inception. the boxter was the first production mid-engine car with a flat 6 water cooled engine, the m-86 block, which was finally introduced in the 996 version of the 911...the 993 was the last of the air cooled 911's and is the holy grail for collectors....

Four wheel electric drive with computer controlled motors integrated into each wheel
Four wheel steering with computer assist
Self driving modes ... economy or racing (which will be faster than a human is capable of)
How far in the future before a car like this is offered?

I cant stand how those engines sound
See new cars being tested all the time out there. Some times there are different models all together.

The mid-engine 911 I speak of was just raced at the 24 hours. It is an RSR, not the street 911. http://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/a31703/porsche-911-rsr-frank-walliser/
