Speaking of crime, you ever notice........

I watch a lot of real crime shows and in a vast majority of gun murders they use a 22 caliber or 32. Never seen a 380, some 9mm and maybe a 38. never a 40 0r 45. I guess a Saturday night special comes into play with small time crooks. However, the sicko people planning a murder still use a 22. I don't get it? You ever notice this? Never seen a shooting with a 45. I guess my question is why bad guys use small caliber weapons?

Quiet......less mess at close range. I've read pros prefer 2 shots to the back of the head with a .22 - it bounces around in there apparently. Ammo easy to find hard to trace. Those caliber weapons are probably easier to find as well.

They use whatever they can get their hands on. I have seen the corpses of a star football player killed by a .22, and a man around 300 pounds killed by one shot from a .380. Shot placement is what mattered in both cases.

The ghettos where most shootings take place are awash with a sea of cheap throw away guns...that are most often bought with "maybe" two mags worth of rounds.

It isn't like "the homies" are going to head out to a indoor range any time soon....:)

The criminal hierarchy most often have a better roscoe of a more potent round.

That's what I have read as well preferred by hit men.

I htink it's a numbers game. There;s a ton of 22s floating around and they're easy to handle

I like a 22...never shot anyone but I guess it would do the job. Killed plenty of groundhogs, a deer and a few beavers....got to put a couple rounds in a beavers head. They are tough....bullets are cheap and my old mans rifle from the the fifties is dead on accurate.

I watch "The First 48" all the time. Seems a variety of empty casings are found on the show. I think 9mm casings are found more than others.

I watch a lot of crime shows as well, “First 48” and such. I see more 9mm than anything. .45, .22, .380, etc…. are all very common. No shortage of .223 either.

He was right and I'm looking forward to killing somebody with it soon. It holds 7 shots...do you think that will be enough..

Why not 2 Walters? 14 rounds is twice as good as 7.....even if you can hit what your aiming at.
