LOL Ohio State Loses 31 - 0

AC ManAC Man Posts: 7,304 Admiral
Kirk Herbbie must have been going nuts calling the game. Such a Homer. Hated them since I was a child and those stupid stickers on the helmet and then when Miami beat them for a national championship only to get a bogus penalty and another chance.

Embarrassing. It will be even worse if Penn State beats USC.

If my best friend were not a Buckeye fan I would have enjoyed it more, but they did get their butts handed to them.

I just watched the 30min replay in YouTube. Omg did Clemson dominate that game. Osu had one good run and that's about it. Clemsons D looked really good.

The Nat champ game should be a great one! I'm picking Clemson by 10!

Sounds like a bunch of people with sour grapes. I personally hold no ill will towards Urban Meyer. He owes UF zero, zilch, nada. He produced while at Florida and got paid well for doing so. He is still only one of a few coaches in the college landscape capable of producing a National Championship. There are far more who don't have the ability to even come close. It was an awesome game and total dominance by Clemson, but they had a purpose and a mission. It should make for an awesome NC game for sure.

It's nice to think Urban got it handed to him in a big, big way. This will be a part of his legacy.

I just checked, THE Ohio State University team still hasn't scored. :) I'll bet that was a fun flight home.

Devastating loss for sure. In reality not a bad season for a team predicted to go 8-4. Always get a kick over those still crying about games that occurred 15+ years ago (2002 close enough). I have a neighbor(Bills Fan) that turns blue and stutters when the "Music City Miracle" in 1999 is discussed. Life goes on. Urban's legacy to date will show NCs for the SEC and for the Big 10. Few will match that in a lifetime.

Urban is doing alright, 2 National champs with UF, 1 with the OS, one undefeated season that was from coach JT's probation that probley would of produced another title....don't worry about Urban...
Clemson is on a mission...hard to stop that. Bama played very laid back football against Washington. Washington and the OSU were more evenly matched for each other.....The bowl committee got it right. The Big 10 is still down, not quite up to standards.....
For the love of all outdoors recreational activities....what my spelling is off, that will learn ya. Pimping ain't easy unless u went to FSU, its a BS course.
What do u get when you can connect the dots, color inside the lines, and get your release papers.....sentence served, times up at Felon sentenced university.

The only difference between FSU and all the other colleges are other colleges accept you into the university's. At FSU you are taken into custody.

Hope this doesn`t throw poor Urban into another relapse of whatever "medical condition" he had in Gainesville.

For me it's got zero to do with Meyer. The hate goes back eons ago, back to Woody Hayes and " Jim The Sweater Vest".

Urban's just Johnny Come Lately. :grin

Maybe some of you should get together and collaborate on a country song titled "Urban - He Dun' Us Wrong". I'm betting Toby Keith would sing it for you. If Mariah has recovered maybe a rap tune would be a better fit. What goes around comes around.:blowkiss

OSU didn't score a point.....not one point. It's like they forfeited, but it took 3 hours. Must have been tough to watch.

Alcohol helped along with the fact they weren't expected or deserved to be there. Any OSU fan that disagrees is one of the psycho ones..... They are the same ones that hated Urban when he was a Gator but acted like they won the lottery when the Buckeyes got him.

I'm not an Urban fan, but this is a young OSU team. They have a great throwing QB Dwayne Haskins who will be a RS freshman next year. This year's recruiting class is insane. Something like 3 5* receivers as well as CB's. I mean you shake your head because why would 3 5* CB's go to the same school. Only two can play. But this year's team really had few playmakers. Next year will but they will still be young. When Haskins is a RS soph they will be loaded on both sides and make a run at a NC again. Until then they will be decent winning 9-10 games a year, but buy stock in Tums, as Urban's going to make a run at the entire market.
