Got one today.

I ordered a couple of new rods and a new Cat 1 EPIRB for the boat. They were shipped today. The email notifying me of the shipment stated:

I hope you enjoy the rods and wasted your money on the EPIRB.

At first I thoght "what, did he sell me a cheap no good EPIRB?"

Then a couple of seconds later I got it. Pretty neat comment!

They're members over on a trawler forum I am on. He offers plenty of advice and some pricing to forum members. But you are right, its the customer service.
