It's wrapping up to be a great day. Came home to 60 PMags at my door, the FFl called and said my G19 is in and the Schmidt and Bender I ordered 8 months ago shipped out today. I should see the scope Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll hopefully receive my 6 New NFA items out of jail late January. 8 months waiting time.
Hey Triple, I read something on another forum that led me to think LE agencies have wait times on NFA as well, is that accurate?
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.
Wife got me a Ruger American compact in 308 for Christmas. My next one will be an AR, not sure which one yet. My brother just bought a Kel Tec pistol in 22 mag that I really like. It's on the list, too.

Any gun will shoot underwater. The problem is you have to real close due to the bullet losing velocity very rapidly pushing through the water.
I had read the US Govt. was going to auction off several thousand WWII Colt .45's. I'd love one (smoothest pistol I ever fired) but I expect they'll be pricey.
I believe those are going to the CMP. I got my m1 from them and could not be happier. Last I read it is going to take them a long time to go though the 1911 so they can put them out for sale

Good info for me.
I only own my grandather's snub-nosed .38 from when he was a cop and detective in Illinois in the 30s-50s. Never shot it and I probably need to get it registered in my name.
What I'd 'love' to own and shoot some day would be authentic US Army:
1) 1911 .45
2) M1 Garand
3) BAR
I'm sort of an amateur military historian and have been reading WW 2 books since 1964. Maj. Dad was USAF, 1941-65.
A few years back, I was able to get down on Omaha Beach in front of WN-62. Got inside the Geman gun positions, etc. Spent two long weekends running all over Normandy from LeHarve to Cherborg with the second visit this past July. Just incredible. That's why I'd love to own the three weapons that I've listed.
Gen. Patton said the M1 Garand helped to win the war.......

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to crap on the board and strut around like it won anyway. I AM NOT A RACIST

Leaving Florida... take a developer with you!
That's a loser's bet should you decide to base your acts on it with any home/boat owner.
