Blacktips everywhere

So I made it down to SWFL for the past 10 days. Before getting there I had heard that the shark fishing from the beach had been very slow on Sanibel for the past month, where we normally fish. The first night I got there we tried and only had one run in 5 hours of fishing. I figured the sharks weren't there so we headed south to try and fish the Bonita Springs/Naples area. Welp... We found the sharks. Every night produced multiple sharks, all blacktips. My guess is we caught them migrating south. Here's a video of some of the action on our best night, where we had 8 runs and landed 5 sharks. Every shark was released. I know it's not the most popular fishing on here but I love it haha.

The little guys 3-5 footers were all over san carlos pass this past week 13-18th... spent a few days fishing there on my "staycation" caught probably 5, saw a bunch caught and lost a few more. (we were only using 15-20lb fluorocarbon leaders no steel)..
