    Those stradics are hardly ever on sale if its the reel I think it is. Why I passed it along.

    Dang it seems like the best deals are right at Christmas- the time of year you aren't supposed to buy for yourself.

    Seems that's when I do buy for myself as it's mostly only time I shop - excluding boats

    That's a good deal but I've got Strdic's older than my kids that run fine. They are definitely built to last.

    We've thought about breaking out a 1963 Mitchell 300 and rigging for inshore.

    No telling how far we could fling 8 lb. braid off that extra wide spool.

    The drag is primitive, but probably enough for Trout or Flounder.
