Came across this today:
For $110 it seems to satisfy many of the requirements of our style of fishing. I am also intrigued by the lower weight compared to a similar class Penn (ssv6500) or Shimano (Spheros sw8000). Has anyone used Tsunami products before?

IMO buying from them is a crapshoot (& very few repair shops stock parts)
Kind of what I was afraid of, especially since I had a similar experience with Okuma reels (the lack of official service locations in south FL). I'm still going to keep my eye on it to see what kind of reviews this model gets.
Balzer Metallica Salza. If Penn can put their "conquer" stamp on a generic reel. Why can't tsunami.
Interesting, good find!
I guess at that price point one should expect it to be an open-source design.
