Does anyone know of an area or spot where you can go on paddle board kayak to try and catch slot sized snook? I'd love to get one before the season is closed. I've never kept one before. Thank you!!
First kayak fishing trip I ever took my dad on was from Morning Side Park, and he goes and catches a goddamned snook earning him bragging rights for years to come. If I haven't spammed you with the video before, here it is: https://youtu.be/1yIlaxOgd60
I haven't caught any others over here, although, I have seen them in the mathesson hammock mangroves.

that's rough man!! At least he got one though. And you got a good story out of it!
Just go to any inlet and drift on the outgoing tide with some kind of live bait and they will be there.
That makes sense. My only concern is I live in Miami and the only inlet I can think of is government cut. I'm not dumb nor ballsy enough to drift the cut on a paddle board. Any suggestions that are maybe a couple hour drive away or closer?
