Minn Kota or Motor Guide for Kayak

Looking to push my Predator 13 on the flats with. 45 thrust trolling engine transom mount hand control.
My question is the saltwater versions are about the same price through Walmart, with motor guide being $10 less.
Any suggestions on which one to choose or stay away from?:huh

I would post this in either the general forum or the boating forum and not bring up the kayak part. Just ask if anyone has any opinion. Probably get more responses about general usage. Otherwise you will just get a bunch of motor on a kayak blah blah blah.

I've had both for many years and the Minnkota usually is quieter.

KA, I can't speak for a TM on a kayak nor the ability of each to hold up to saltwater use but based on "YEARS" of tournament bass fishing, IMHO the MK is a hands down better choice, at least for traditional TM usage.

Surely you will get other opinions but I wanted to offer at least a bit of help since I've received so much help here myself.
